Understanding that individuals cannot lead healthy lives without their fundamental needs being fulfilled, the Quantum Foundation dedicates funding annually, beyond our Regular Grants, to support nonprofits that provide for the essential necessities of Palm Beach County's residents.
The Quantum Foundation is inviting proposals from small grassroots nonprofit organizations for projects that address the underlying issues impacting the health and well-being of communities in Palm Beach County. Our mission at the Quantum Foundation is to enhance the living conditions of Palm Beach County's residents by addressing critical and fundamental human necessities. The struggle to afford basic needs like food and housing is exerting tremendous pressure on both the individuals and families faced with this challenge and on the regional nonprofits experiencing a surge in demand for their services. In Palm Beach County, the difficulty in fulfilling these basic requirements is highlighted by the nearly 100,000 annual requests for assistance received by Palm Beach/Treasure Coast 2-1-1.
The Quantum in the Community initiative targets the need for essential safety-net needs, such as access to food, shelter, transportation, and emergency assistance for low-income and vulnerable individuals and families.
